Texture Pod set by Sir James

The enclosed pod has just enough of a track to run. It has checkpoints , but no markers.
What good could that be? Pull the track into Traxx and extract the models and art.
The track has 3 full texture sets included. A dirt road set, a gravel road set and
a set of blacktop with gravel shoulders. There are also some textures to run two types
of road together.

BE CAUTIONED: With all 3 sets together, the number of textures is extremely closed to the
limit in MTM2. Use what you want and then be sure to sweep out the rest. When in Traxx
you'll find all the textures on the track in the top left corner. They are laid out seperately and
with some of the corners and intersections put together. If you load and run the track, you'll start
somewhere in the middle of the set.
.
Also included in the pod, is my first attemp at a backdrop. Looks pretty well in bin edit. And
is seamless in the game, but it has a palette problem. I tried all the stock palettes and tried
using it's own palette. Just didnt look right, something was always off color. Guess I'll be
reading some of Phin's help pages before my next attemp. It dont look to bad as is, but I was
hoping for more deeper shades of green. One plus from it though. I remapped the backdrop
so it uses 2 raw files instead of 1. Kinda like the billboards I remapped, it makes it easier for
you to repaint them and try you hand at making backdrop.

Hope ya find something useful.
